Guest Associate Editor Frontiers in Materials Journal - Corrosion Research - Hydrogen Embrittlement topic I have been named guest associate editor in the Corrosion Research section - topic: Hydrogen Embrittlement Mechanisms of an open access "Frontiers in Materials Journal". As such, I will be responsible for building the review editorial board and overseeing the review process.

Frontiers is a leader in the Open Science movement and has recently partnered with the Nature Publishing Group. Corrosion Research is devoted to the communication of ideas and results in all aspects of environmental degradation of materials. This special section reports corrosion behavior and mechanism, and broadly covers new theories, significant findings and revolutionary methods in surface physics, chemistry and engineering. Hydrogen Embrittlement Mechanisms topic is related to the hydrogen degradation phenomena of metallic materials.
