    About the team:

    As a member of the Technology team, the project manager leads FIS technical teams towards on time, on budget projects resulting in measurable outcomes. This position plays a key role in the success of strategic initiatives in the Capital Markets Technology organization and requires cross-functional collaboration with other Capital Markets and FIS technology professionals and leaders.


    What you will be doing:

    • Develop, define, and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables from initiation through delivery.
    • Accurately forecasts projects and manage project budgets.
    • Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
    • Prepare and conduct frequent project meetings with FIS staff both at the project level and at the Steering Committee level.
    • Manage changes that are requested or required in the project and negotiate additional commercial terms for these changes with the Customer, Stakeholders (internal and external), and FIS staff.
    • Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions.
    • Other related duties assigned as needed.

    What you bring:

    • Previous experience as a project manager working with internal and external customers in a professional services environment.
    • Knowledge of technology services industry
    • Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines
    • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.
    • Excellent communication (verbal & written), planning & analysis, problem-solving, organization, conflict management and time management skills
    • Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
    • Ability to travel up to 30%
