Qualifications

• You should have a solid background in Go programming, with 2–5 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining applications in Go.
• Real-world experience delivering web services
• A positive attitude and passion for your craft matter more than checking every box.
• Pragmatic, empathetic team members who strive to understand others before seeking to be understood
• Bonus point if you have experience with: Full-text search (e.g., Elasticsearch), Relational databases at scale (e.g., PostgreSQL), Service orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud services, especially AWS

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring
• Run Go-based backend services on AWS with Kubernetes, deploying daily to over 300k users
• Code is reviewed and deployed directly from GitHub
• Our stack includes PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, SendGrid (emails), and Auth0 (authentication)
